This weekend, July 8th and 9th, we’ll be in Whistler running workshops in art-botics as part of the Whistler Children’s Festival
Art-Bots, also called Doodle-Bots or Scribble-Bots, are a super fun, creative and accessible introduction to building autonomous critters, i.e. robots, as well as introducing simple electric circuits. We love them because every one is different and you can never predict quite how they will move!
Because Art-Bots have washable markers for legs, they can leave artistic trails wherever they go. What’s really sweet is to get a bunch going together on a large sheet of paper. As they bumble around and bounce off each other they can create some fairly interesting patterns, a bit like a random spirograph!
Join us for an Art-Bot workshop and take home your very own artistically inclined robot! Builds start at 11am and 1:30pm on Saturday and 10:30am and 1:30pm on Sunday.

See you in Whistler!
